Do you take insurance?

I take Premera, Regence and Cigna. If I am not in network with your insurance, I will provide you with an invoice to submit for reimbursement. It is important to find out the reimbursement rate for out-of-network providers.

Do you prescribe medications?

I am not a medical doctor and am not licensed to prescribe medication.

Are you a couples counselor?

Not at this time, but would be happy to refer you to someone who is.

Are sessions confidential?

Yes, sessions are strictly confidential. The only exception to this is disclosure required by law. If you are concerned about this, please discuss this with me the first session.

What is your cancellation policy?

I have a 48 business hour cancellation policy. I charge full session fee for missed appointments, so if you are unable to make an appointment, please let me know as soon as possible. Exceptions are made due to emergencies and illness.

How many sessions will it take for me to feel better?

That is very difficult to predict. Many factors influence the therapeutic process. Sometimes in therapy clients may feel worse before they start feeling better. Therapy is a process each individual goes through at their own pace.
